Day Sixteen

Home Scale Shows: 265 LBS (for three days now) (03-24-09)


~ Welcome to Day 16 ~

Day 16: This VIDEO BLOG is Danny's way to stay on track. You're out there watching and he's in here trying to put the "fun" back in functional when it comes to exercise and eating right.

We all know when we're not eating right, yet we do it anyway... Why? Why do we do things that we know will hurt us? What is going on in our head as that Twinkie makes it's way to our "pie hole?" No disrespect to Hostess and the bakery boys that bring us so many savory snacks, but what are we thinking when we eat that stuff??

This is where Dr. Phil comes in for me... His book not only helps me with the physical part of weight loss, like his idea about "cleaning the environment" but it's also a mental game and each of us need to figure out how that plays out in our own weight loss. Or in ANY behavior we're trying to change.

Okay... this is the third day in-a-row that I weigh 265 pounds so now I'm ready to have my first APPLE DAY. Today I am going to eat 5 medium size apples and very little fluid which should help me loose the unnecessary water weight. I've talked to others that have done the APPLE DAY and they say it works, but as always consult your physician before changing your eating habits.

I'll tell you tomorrow if the APPLE DAY works for me.
